More bouncy seas over night. It was too cold and windy to walked on deck this morning, so Clay used the treadmill for the 2nd time. He got to the gym about 5:45 and there was a person already there. They left fairly soon, but before long there were about 8 people in there using the machines. Hopefully, it will be warmer by tomorrow. Debbie started her exercise regimen with the new fitness instructor.
There is a block party this evening from 6-6:30, and we are eating in Latitudes at 6:30.
Debbie ended up doing 5 exercise classes today, 3 in the morning and 2 in the evening. In between she ate lunch, read and napped. Clay started working on his job's project in earnest today. It was fish day at the pool grill so Clay ate fish while Debbie had one of their famous steak sandwiches. All in all, a pretty good lunch ending with strawberry cheesecake ice cream.
During the afternoon, a door plaque with our names on it was delivered. part of the world cruise gifts. The block party at six went off without a hitch. I would say about 40% percent of the cabins in our stretch of cabins on deck 7 have world cruisers in them. We then had a good meal in Latitudes. Clay was the only person who ate everything on the menu. We shared with another couple. The man had problems with garlic and the woman was sort of a vegetarian (though she did eat some lobster). Clay made out like a bandit as the Latitudes restaurant serves food family style.
When we got back to the room, Marco the computer guy was standing outside our suite with a laptop. He was checking the new equipment they installed to see if we had a wireless signal. The signal was good in the hall, but could not be seen in the room with the door closed. He said he would try to have an amplifier set up outside our door to see if he could get the signal into our room. (A little progress in trying to get the promised internet into our room, but not quite there yet.)
We looked at a movie on TV and called it quits. We gain an hour overnight and the seas are a little more calm and the wind is now pushing us from side to side, but the room is still creaking and cracking.
