More bouncy seas overnight. We have been bouncing since we left Cabo San Lucas, fighting up to 35-40 mph head winds. The slowest we have seen has been 20-25 mph. This has lead to some 8 to 10 swells and lots of choppy seas. Debbie is not pleased, but so far she has not had an explosive bout of sea sickness. I saw both dealers and players at the blackjack tables wearing acupressure wrist bands. Speaking of blackjack, it was a bad afternoon of playing. Now Clay is down about $75 for the trip. He may retire for a few days.
We had a lazy day at sea. Ate both breakfast and dinner in the Compass Rose, but braved the wind and cold (about 65F) to eat grilled lobster and steak poolside up on deck 11. It was breezy and cold. There were some people out in the sun, but their blood must be thicker than ours as it was a little too cold to sit out there with the breeze. Our balcony was sheltered from the breeze so Clay spent a little time there, but it still was too cold for him to spend a lot of time there.
The puzzle table now has its third puzzle out for this segment. There are some serious puzzle people on this cruise. I am not sure this last one will be done by LA or not.
Debbie did some laundry this morning after finding both washers on deck 6 empty. On our deck, one washer was being used and the other just had dry clothes in it, not being washed. Since deck 6 has fewer passenger cabins, it is a good place to check for an available washer. Debbie has been waiting for a popcorn movie to be shown on the big screen on a sea day. Well, today they had one, but Debbie did not go because we saw it one night last week in our room. Oh, well. There will likely be another movie on a sea day.
